The Brothers Four mission is to enjoy the beauty that nature has given us on the back of our most trusted steed, with the company of friends and family.
We enjoy the warmth of the campfire on the soles of our boots, We cherish the idea of waking up with the sweet morning dew covering our saddles, the smell of bacon and eggs cooking over the fire and the first flake of hay being giving to our best friend, just before we tack up and mount up for a long beautiful day in the loving glow of the sun.
Brothers Four are avid trail riders with one thing on our mind “loving life on the the back of a horse”. We travel all across New York State to find the most challenging trails with the most accommodating facilities for our horses and bringing friends of MLT Ridge Riders to the most pristine locations in NYS and surrounding areas. Brookfield Horse Trails *amazing trails and accommodations for the rider and horse. We were able to do 60 miles in only 2 days the trails are well maintained and worth every step.

The Otter Creek Horse Trails
are a series of interlocking horse trails comprising about 65 miles. They are located on both the Independence River Wild Forest Unit of the Adirondack Forest Preserve and on the Independence River and Otter Creek State Forests on the western border of the Adirondack Park in Lewis County. There is an Assembly Area with a trail head parking area, 100 roofed tie stalls, two stud stalls, and water system.

Potable water is provided at the camping area for public and horse use. Port-a-johns are also on-site for use during the summer season. The water is turned on mid-May and turned off after Columbus Day every year.
The Santanoni Horse Trail * Moose Pond is by far one of the most challenge trails I’ve had the opportunity to ride on between the high ridges, flooded trails and the lovely wildlife the 9 mile ride is by far one of the most exhilarating trials in New York State. If you decide to ride up through the winding trail to Moose Pond you will be blessed with the most pristine view with a clear beautiful lake. Nothing is better than waking up to the bellowing of a bull moose . Please note this is a very primitive campsite what you bring in you most bring out. They do have a Outhouse but please bring only bio-degradable tissue paper. I promise you will love this ride.

Horseback Riding Trails in Glens Falls
The Lake George Horse Trail System:
This horse trail system was originally on private lands owned by the Knapp family in the early 1900's. After being acquired by NY State, a portion of the system was re-established for foot trails in the early 1960's. With a renewed interest in horseback riding, the NYS Environmental Conservation Department has refurbished nearly all the remaining trails for a total of 41.25 miles as multiple use foot and horse trails.
This system is located in Washington County in the Towns of Fort Ann and Dresden. This system has trails for single lane and side by side riding on a variety of loops. The trails follow streams with waterfalls, past vistas overlooking Lake and George and large forested areas and have appropriately located lean-tos on small ponds for the rider who would like to camp overnight.
